Well, I got another item crossed off on Mia's first-time to-do list - she went to the beach! Ponce Inlet at Daytona/New Smyrna beaches is dog-friendly so my friend DeAnna and I took Mia and her dog Harvin. It was a really pretty part of the beach, with really calm, clear water and plenty of space for the dogs to play. When we first got there it was really crowded so we had to keep them on their leashes (the rule) but after a while everyone left except for us and one other couple, who also wanted to be off-leash, so they got their freedom. We all had so much fun :)
